I'm so glad that we've almost made it through another "work" week!!The weather has been sooo nice!! I'm so ready for the weekend. I have 2 housewarming parties to go to this weekend. I have to make a good ole pound cake and I'm really excited about going and spending some time with my friends and family.

Hey ya'll, I just got in the mail the new Kraft Food & Family cookbook and I love it!! I think they mail these out quarterly and it's FREE when you sign up on their website!!

Here's a quick and easy recipe from the FREE book:
Pronto pasta italiano

1pkg. (14 oz.) Kraft Delux mac and cheese dinner
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup Kraft shredded Italian Three Cheese Blend

Prepare dinner as directed on package, Meanwhile, brown meat in a large skillet.
Add dinner and pizza sauce, mix lightly. Sprinkle with shredded cheese;cover.
Cook on low heat 2 min. or until shredded cheese begins to melt. SERVE and enjoy!

~Spring Cleaning~

After looking around the house this morning I feel like I need to do some spring cleaning and de-clutter! I'm trying to find the time to have a yard sale, yes another one! LOL It seems like every time I clean something, this certain little man (you know his name) comes behind me and tries to "help".. I don't know why I even try when you have a baby! LOL Oh well, I'm blessed and I love every minute of it!! Brent is feeling a little better today, he's going to try and go to work. I hope he makes it.

Today is going to be BUSY!!! I have so much to do. It's funny how we get Wednesday afternoons off but I think I'm busier on those afternoons then if I'm at work! LOL

Well, last night I actually got some sleep!!! woo hoo The Lord has blessed me with a great night sleep. Ayden woke up once, at around 4am and wanted his mommy and his passie.. He got both. LOL It's funny, Brent wakes up in the morning and always asks me if I got up last night with the kids.. I'm like "Are you kidding me?" It's funny how men can sleep through anything and us mom's can hear when our baby turns over in the middle of the night. The joys of being a mommy :O)

It's going to be a BEAUTIFUL DAY!! Don't forget to wear your green for St. Patrick's DAY!!! You don't want to get pinched. LOL

~Starting off another week~

Wow, the weekend has flown by once again. Yes, it's 4:47 and I've been up for over an hour. My little man didn't sleep well last night, I think he's getting another ear infection or something. Luckily, Brent is off work today and he can take him to the doctor. Poor Ayden got up 4 times last night. Please pray that he feels better so we can all get some much needed rest.

Did I tell ya'll that I'm going to be taking a cake decorating class starting March 30th?? I'm so excited. I hope I do well, because I want to know how to make the crazy cakes!! Sometimes I wonder when I have time for all the crazy ideas I get in my head. LOL

I read "John and Kate plus 8" last month and it was great!! She was talking about how the Lord always gave her the strength to get up and do what needed to be done for the babies. Every time I think that I don't have the energy to fold the clothes, unload the dishwasher, or get up in the middle of the night with a screaming child, I think about what she said... The Lord will give you strength to do what you have to do.. I think he has some secret "reserve" energy somewhere out there and he zaps it to us. Yes, this is just my theory, but it does help me get things done.

I think it's going to be a great day! The weekend has flown by but we still have today to enjoy it. Yesterday was great! My husband made me a grilled ham and cheese last night because I was hungry... AWWW, ain't he sweet. LOL I'm up again, it's about 5:30 and I've been up for about 45 minutes. I don't know why I can't sleep. I think I should be on ambien. LOL Faith comes home today, she's been at her grandpa's for the weekend. I can't wait to see her pretty face. I'm so blessed to have so many people in my life that love me, you know who you are! You're probably taking the time to read about me and my crazy, wonderful life. I really do love each and every one of you. The Lord has truly blessed me!! Thank you Lord for everyone that is reading this, please keep them safe and healthy.

I'm so excited about getting the paper today!! It's Coupon Sunday!! woo hoo No, it doesn't take much to get me excited. LOL The other day I bought the paper and it contained over 200.00 in coupons!! That's great!!! Does anyone else clip coupons or am I the only one that wants a great deal. LOL

Me and Vicki from Barnwell (LOL) went to Bath and Body works yesterday and they had buy 3 get 3 FREE on their signature collection, that's a great deal!! It's finally the weekend

Here are few pictures that I took this weekend. The one with of the kids is my favorite, they just woke up and they were just laying there together before we have to rush into the chaos of starting the day. It's so nice when we could just relax and enjoy each other. I'm heading to Aiken this morning to celebrate my best friend's birthday from Barnwell, she turned 30 last week. Her and Ayden are one day apart from each other. I think God did that on purpose, two of my favorite people share a birthday so close to each other. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

I also want to thank everyone who sent me emails and prayers yesterday because of the awful day that I had Thursday. I really do appreciate it and it helped, yesterday was so much better! I love you all!! I really do treasure my friends and family, God has blessed SO much!!

I really needed this scripture this morning. I had a very bad afternoon at work yesterday because of one member that was just so rude to me . It was completely out of my hands and I didn't do anything wrong, but she just needed someone to take it out on. I usually don't let people get to me, but she did and because of it, I've been up since 2 this morning. I am trying to hand this situation over to God, but the more I pray, the worse it gets it seems. Does anyone ever feel that way? I mean, why are people so mean to each other?? I would never treat someone that way.. Why can't we just reach across the desk and just say "What else is going on here?" I know that she had just had a bad day and she needed to take it out on someone and I was chosen. I guess she should be thankful that I couldn't yell back. LOL I guess when life gives you lemons, just make lemonade. It's going to be a good day today!! I know that I have my health, two beautiful healthy kids tucked away in their beds safely and a husband that would do anything for me. I am so blessed!! You know, it's crazy how one person can shake up your world and you feel like screaming, but then you just look at the things around you and are thankful that you're not them!! LOL

It's funny as I watch the kids sleeping.. They don't have a care in the world . Ayden is probably dreaming about his little friends or milk or something. Faith is probably dreaming about Hannah Montana or the weekend!! They are so innocent and they don't have a care in the world. They are what gets me through a day like I had yesterday. One smile, hug, kiss, just a " I love you mommy" and everything is all better! I guess I shouldn't wake them up though, it's not even 5am. LOL I'll just think about it until they get up and get my kid fix. I love being a mommy!!

Well, I woke up this morning and told my husband "It's going to be a great day"! His response was "WHY"?? LOL I just had to laugh, it's going to be a great day because I said so!! Isn't the enough! haha I just think if we wake up with a good attitude then you will have a great day!! Attitude is everything and I tell my daughter that all the time, as she's rolling her eyes at me. LOL

Well, we're off to another week and it's been a beautiful one so far. This is the second night in a row that both kids have slept all night long, GOD IS GOOD!! I used to take sleep for granted but after this year, I treasure every little minute of it :O) Most of you parents can relate to that.
We had the best weekend. Ayden celebrated his first birthday and the whole family came over and we all had a ball. God has certainly blessed me with a crazy family, there's never a dull moment in this house. HAHA I wouldn't have it any other way.. Then, Sunday me and Brent went to see a movie and Grandpa Greg watched Ayden for us. Faith went to the movies with her daddy too. It was so nice just to have time alone with my husband, I love him so much!! I am so thankful for my life and my family!! I really don't know what my life would be like right now if the Lord hadn't put me and Brent together. God really knows what he's doing.
Me and one of my co-workers were talking yesterday about how we perceive ourselves. I mean, I think that everyone has insecurities that other people don't see. Why can't we as women just learn to accept ourselves? It's what is on the inside that counts anyways, right?? I think that everyone has goodness in their hearts, sometimes we do have to dig deep to find that in some people, but it's there. Lord please help me to learn to not be so hard on myself and just be okay with what I see in the mirror. I really think that alot of people need that prayer. I don't know why we just can't be happy with ourselves, who cares if we don't look as good as we used to or if we've gained a few pounds. The Lord is going to look at what is in our heart not what is in our closet or how much we weigh. I guess you know what I'm struggling with lately.

Another Week

I'm fixing to wake Faith up so she can ready for school. The house is so quiet, This is the only quiet time I have to myself all day... It's only about 15 minutes, but I enjoy it :O) It's funny the little things we enjoy.. I drink my coffee and watch a little bit of the news and then it's time to get ready for work and the chaos begins. Brent and Ayden have already headed out the door.. Brent is going to work and to take Ayden to day care. WOW!! It's amazing at what a great husband I have!! He takes Ayden to day care for me so I can get ready without having a one year old yelling for his mommy to pick him up. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful and caring husband!!You moms know how hard it is to shower, get ready and head out the door with a one year old in tow. LOL I never thought that I would be married to such a great man and have two beautiful kids and be so happy!!! Me and Brent are fixing to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary, time has flown by so fast.. I know that time goes by so fast and we are trying to enjoy this time. We don't get alot of "alone" time unless the kids are both in bed and by then we're so tired that we hit the sack too.. I know that I'll look back one day and miss these sleepless nights and the sound of a screaming baby. Right now, I'm just enjoying what every day brings.. I never know what the kids are going to get into or what is going to come out of their mouths.. Kids say the darnest of things! HAHA I hope that everyone has a great day and just remember to treasure the little things :O)

~Ayden is one today~

I can't believe that my little man is one today. I think back of this day last year, I was scared to death laying there on that table getting ready to be a mommy to a little boy. My thoughts were running wild wondering what I was going to do with a little boy, I was thinking that maybe the doctor was wrong, maybe there's really a girl in my tummy playing a trick on us. Little did I know Ayden already had a plan to capture his mommy's heart the first time I saw him. I have the best of both worlds, a beautiful girl and a sweet and charming little boy. You see, Ayden is a big flirt, I think he gets it from his daddy. LOL Ayden is a momma's boy, even more than his sister. I never would of thought that I didn't realize the joy that a little boy could bring. The Lord has truly blessed me with two great kids. Even though I don't think I've slept a whole night since before he was even born, I am so happy to have this crazy life. I still can't believe that my little man has went from being a little bundle not being able to even hold his head up to running around the house. LOL His sister didn't even walk until after she was one. Guess what I did yesterday?? I called about cake decorating classes, and yes, I am going to start them at the end of the month. Sometimes people ask me how do I do everything, but it's weird, I feel like I'm not doing enough if there's even a minute in the day when I'm not entertained. LOL Brent said that if there's not enough action in a movie I get bored,and he's right!! LOL Faith is the same way!!! The man that marries her is in big trouble. LOL I've learned never to put things off today that I can do today! LOL God is Good!!

~Wonderful Wednesday~

It's going to be a great day! I'm going to lunch with one of my girl friends and then I'm off to the grocery store. I have to make sure I have everything for Ayden's party this weekend.. Oh yeah, Just put a load in the washing machine and had to get my coffee too. You know, I've ben praying for patience lately when it comes to certain people in my life.. either family, members that I wait on, co-workers, etc.. One of my dear friends told me that I was praying the wrong way, if we pray for patience then the Lord will test us. That does make sense, so from this day forward I am going to pray for the people that I feel like I'm losing my patience with. Sometimes I have to pray for that same person more than once, lol, BUT I understand it a lot better now. So, Lord if you're listening, I think I've been tested enough! haha Everyone have a blessed day!

We're waiting on the snow, Ayden is still in his pj's. LOL We're warm. Brent has been painting. I love my husband!!
